Through our Friends of Headwaters Forest Reserve project, we will sponsor a trip to the Headwaters Forest Reserve for Bay Area people to see spawning salmon in the South Fork Elk River (January, date tba)
In March, we will welcome to the Bay Area the Dell `Arte theater company for the In the Shadow of Giants play, theater inspired by the tree-sits in the ancient redwoods of Freshwater. March 24-25 at the Brava Theater in San Francisco.
On March 17, St. Patrick's Day, we tree-huggers and friends will shake our green booties on the dance floor at Ashkenaz in our annual Stomp the Stumps benefit dance party to support the forest work.
